Call of Misery started as an unofficial port of Misery 2 to Call of Chernobyl but has since gone on to add its own features and changes. Call of Chernobyl is the plain sandbox many are familiar with. Lets actually look at the progression side by side. Maybe one day one of those many mods that are created by so called different devs which are basically identical will actually be completed and playable rather than some experiment released too soon. That was their objective, so of course modders are using their stuff XD Not only that but CoC was specifically intended to be use as a modding framework. These mods are sure not from the same modmakers.Īye, I don't know where that came from but these are all different developers, and the stalker mod community is a lot more open with usage of their work than other games. CoC is, like previously mentioned, preparing for new update, CoM is not really making any progress, Dead Air is already released, and Last Day too. Last Day is also FROM other modmakers and is a russian modpack, and Dead Air is also an russian modpack. well, CoC(k) was created by westerns, CoM is a russian Misery version of first. Whats there is playable i guess they are just nowhere near as polished as some of the none stand alone game mods. If not they are using eachothers mods and tweaking them to their new desired preferences and giving them new names. Originally posted by Heresy:I highly doubt they are different devs.
